Is meningitis an aerobic or anaerobic bacteria?

Self explanatory question.

Is meningitis an aerobic or anaerobic bacteria?
Viral or bacterial meningitis ? It can be caused by either aerobic ( requires oxygen to thrive ) or anaerobic ( doesn't require oxygen to thrive) for bacterial meningitis. Since the bacterial form is encapsulated, then O 2 ( Oxygen) is not required. It is also antiphagocytic ( bacterial form). So, I would have to say it is anaerobic. Obviously, you have an educational or knowledge of medical terms so, I didn't get into too much detail. But, here's a web:

I hope that this helps.

Reply:Meningitis isn't actually a bacteria at all, but an infection of the outer brain. It can be caused by a number f different bacterias and viruses.
