How do ultra purification filters kill bacteria?
They simply trap the bacteria by using a semi permeable membrane. Like a fish net. Water goes through, fish get caught up.
Reply:some fancy filtering devices also use a zap of UV--this would kill the bacteria. Just filters alone do not kill bacteria.
